I got bit! Bit by the Scrappy Trip Along bug. Check out Sheri's tutorial at A Quilter's Life blog. These quilts have gone crazy on Flicker and some other blogs and I just couldn't resist.  I started with my Gypsy Bandana line and pulled coordinates from my stash.  I have these 16 done and another 9 cut and ready to sew!  This is really fun because each block is a kind of surprise, is super easy to sew, and I can do a couple when I have a few moments.

The melon colorway is really fresh and I like all the white I added, it gives the eye a place to rest.

Okay, so things got crazy.....

So what I thought I was done with, ended up being extended. plus we got the brilliant idea to add a brick border to all of our flowerbeds AND paint trim in my house. 350 feet of flowerbed border -  My back ached, my head hurt, my hands blistered.   While it looks really great now I got NOTHING QUILTY done.  Half the time I was too tired to join my quilting group on Fridays and when I did go, I sat. Hey, I was just thankful to not be moving!  The trim project got pushed to the fall and while it is now underway, it is not half as painful as the bricks.  So I am back (I think) to blogging. I'll be back soon with pics of WIPs until later.....
